Viceregal Lodge, also known as "Rashtrapati Nivas" is a six-storey building surrounded by well-maintained gardens and Shimla's single most impressive colonial monument located on the Observatory Hill. Built in the Elizabethan style it has a crenulated tower and grey limestone and sandstone. It has now been converted into Institute of Advanced Study. |
