Kufri, at a distance of 16 kms from Shimla and at an altitude of 2510 above sea level is a site famous for its hiking and trekking trails and wonderful snow for skiing. This place is also full of lush green hills. It is also known for nature parks and picnic spots. The Himalayan Nature Park here has a good collection of animals and birds found in the region. It also has a Potato Research Station. |
