One of the smallest
hill station, built on three hills, Chail was created by Maharaja
Bhupinder Singh of Patiala after his explusion from Shimla.
Chail, besides its Palace, is
famous for its tranquil walks, clean air, unspoiled beauty, and thick cover of
majestic, soaring- deodars. Three kilometres from the village is the
world's highest cricket ground built in 1893. There is also a wildlife sanctuary
