Mecca Masjid is
behind the Charminar, the sixth largest mosque in India constructed in
1598 by Abdullah Qutb Shah from blocks of black granite. The mosque can
hold 3000 devotees with upto 10,000 more in the courtyard. On the left of
the courtyard there is The Charkaman and on the western arch is
Daulat-Khan-e-Ali.
