The Archbishop's Palace
is unique as the last surviving civil building of colonial Goa's
golden era. 19th century photos show that the city-facing side of the
building was originally enfolded by a low wall, which surrounded a garden.
This has long been dismantled, but the two grand entrance porches
remain intact. |
