Enchy Monastery means the "Solitary Temple". It was built in mid 19th century on a site blessed by the Tantric Master, Druptob Karpo known for his flying powers. This 200 year old monastery has in its premises images of god, goddess , and many other religious objects. This monastery also popular for the religious masked dance called "Chaam" which is a part of two day festival here. |
