Humayun's Tomb |

An elegant example of early Mughal architecture, the tomb of the second
Mughal emperor also houses the graves of his wives. It was built in AD
1565 and took 8 years to complete. Designed by Presian architect, Mirza
Ghyas, Humayun's Tomb shows a marked shifts from the persian tradition
of using coloured tiles for ornamentation.
