Crocodile Bank |

The Crocodile Bank at Vadanemmeli, 14km north of town on the road to Chennai, was set up in 1976 by the American zoologist Romulus Whittaker, to protect and breed indigenous crocodiles. It is home to over 3,000 muggers and gharials and various species of crocodiles and lizards from other countries. |
