Malabar mahotsava is a cultural that showcases the centuries old rich rich cultural heritage of kerala. The event takes place in the heart of kozhikode/Calicut town from 13th to 16th century January from year. The festival highlights musical concerts and performances of various classical dances. The festival is also an occasion to relish the native cuisine and enjoy the mind blowing fire work displays. |

▪ Jalotsavams :- |

Three Jalotsavams (water fiestas) are held every year as part of the Onam festivals. It is conducted by the sports clubs at Korappuzha, Moorad and Pongilodippara. |

▪ Utsavam at Sree Venkateswara Temple |
|
It is celebrated for 7 days during Sivaratri week. Elephant procession, exhibition, fair and fairworks are conducted during the festival. |
